Komilla Sutton is an established vedic astrologer in the south of England. Her book The Lunar Nodes, Crisis and Redemption, is well worth looking at if you have a basic interest in this ancient Indian form of astrology.
From my own personal view I find vedic astrology to be much more accurate than western astrology. It is also based on actual positions of the planets and constellations as in astronomy.
The lunar nodes are called Rahu (the north node)and Ketu (the south node) - terms which sound unusual to western ears. However, if you have had an astrological reading done in this system - as I have - the terminology becomes easier to understand.
Komilla Sutton uses her vast knowledge of the vedic mythology behind this system to show how to release old patterns and move on.
Her chapter on remedial measures is very interesting and discusses yoga, pranayama, mantras, yantras, spiritual retreats and gems.
Komilla also discusses Rahu and Ketu through the signs eg Rahu in Aries/Ketu in Libra (the 2 nodes are always opposite each other). Then she discusses past life issues eg what Ketu in Libra indicates. Finally she gives information on the lessons of eg the Aries/Libra axis.
I think this is a lovely book but unless you have some background and interest in astrology, preferably vedic astrology, or had a reading done for yourself in this system then you may be confused by it.

This book is not for the novice: there is toomuch of its content that needs the deep knowledge and background of Vedic astrology to make sense. Besides, the text written in English, is not as clear and easy to grasp as it should be.
Having said that, Vedic astrology does bring a huge amount of insights to the understanding of the Nodes that you will never find in Western Zodiacal astrology book. Worth buying just for that.
