The second of two in the series, this book provides a different, old fashioned approach to the learnng of science topics. I have used many of the suggestions, but have adapted them somewhat to suit both age and objective. Somewhat archaic but quite inspiring. If only we could teach in this way all the time!!

I thought this was a useful extension book for a childcare practitioner or parent with plenty of ideas that could be adapted for the uk. I especially enjoyed the focus on observation and the beginnings of classification of nature, better used alongside book 1 as this edition definately feels like part 2 which needs part 1.
