Looking past the bad title, I really enjoyed this book

This book certainly hasn't saved my life, but I really enjoyed it and particularly liked the writing style and the way the characters were written. The story flows well as more and more characters are introduced (or re-introduced) into Richard's life, and the misfortunes that happen to him inter-lock well with the characters. The title of the book is no doubt intended to encourage you to look at your life and the people in it and to help them where you can, and there are some really good messages that can be taken from the book.
I have a few qualms with the book, but most of them are down to personal preference and opinion (such as the way I feel homosexuality is represented and the fact that I'm personally not fond on how bluntly the book ended), but this would not stop me recommending the book to anyone interested in light-hearted fiction.
