This book is full of interesting suggestions for something special. Some recipies are very interesting and you can find inspiring ideas for dinner parties. I think there are more sweet recipies rather than savoury ones and there are also "yummy" pictures. I have to say that I prefer Lou Pappas' book on crêpes though.
Once you get the basic ingredients in your store cupboard, and a good pan, the recipes are so easy and the results delicious. A lot of supermarkets sell the unusual flours now too, or failing that, the health food shops do.
