I saw Kylie: The Exhibition at the V&A museum in London and it was amazing, but the accompanying book offers so much more depth and description. Many other costumes are featured in the book along with exclusive quotes from their designers and tidbits from Kylie herself about inspiration for her look or performing in the creations.
The outfits from her Showgirl tour are particularly amazing and the photography in this book captures them in all their feathered and Swarovski-ed glory.
I would highly recommend this book to a Kylie fan, and to anyone with an interest in fashion or its design. Simply beautiful.

I've been a Kylie fan for 14 months met Kylie seen her live not only is Kylie a brillant performer yes she does sing live also a lovely person. Kylie worked on this book for 14 months and gave her proceeds of this book to Aids helpline, kids helpline and chicken shed company. from being to end it tells the story of Kylie from photos when she was a child to tv shows, magizine covers, letters contributons from friends but this is not selfobessed but a honest and brutalpotalyal from Kylie from the likes of julie birchill and a kylie interview taken from a 6 month interview with Kylie Kylie admits to not being able to lie about people and crying in front of the mirror when she wakes up being critical of herself and even admitting celebraity can be about selfcenterness even though she give procceds to this book to charity and just how photgenic kylie is proves kylie was born a star...
When i went to see the Kylie Exhibition at the V&A in London in February last year i was totally bowled over by the amazingness of all the costumes. Here i was in a room surrounded by all these things that so were so iconic, that we have seen time and time again in her music videos that we know so well and now i was just an arms length away from them. It was one of my most memorable moments of being a Kylie fan.
This book is a fantastic momento of that exhibition and i full to the brim with fantastic photos and sketches of all the costumes, really showing the detail close up so you can get the full effect of how awesome all her clothes are. Kylie isn't regarded as one of the most stylish women in the world for nothing, you know! The book itself is very high quality, the paper glossy and the layout and fonts very well thought out. Fashion fans will also appreciate the captions for each of the costumes noting the date and designer.
There's great insightful bits and pieces from various collaborators and people scattered throughout the book and even a foreword from Kylie herself, rounding out a book that is a must for any Kylie fan or anyone interested in fashion/design. I just wish i had bought the gold harback edition too while it was still in print!

Great quality photos of a great array of Kylie's costumes of tour costumes, and music video outfits, from the whole of Kylie's career.
Really good close up photographs of costume details, with explanations of what was used to create it, and it also features some designs.
This book accompanied the Exhibition at the V & A museum a few years ago. I went to the exhibition, but i think the book is better!
