I have struggled through this book, but only with the tedious descriptions of the menhirs in France. I do not know why he had to ramble on so much about where they were etc.
The most interesting aspects of this book are the chapters about human physical being in the world and how we coordinate that bench mark around all other objects, aspects and creations of our own.
The philosophical chapters in this book are interesting and rewarding. This book could have been a lot smaller and all the more interesting and diverse for it.
