I do not claim any expert knowledge about German panzers, and therefore cannot say if there are any major errors in the text or labelling of photographs, diagrams or drawings.
I enjoyed having the history of the famous PanzerIV laid out in such concise terms, with well chosen photographs (some from WWII, some from museum exhibits) and artwork/diagrams. I was particularly impressed with the 'cut-away' and detailed labelling of the J model tank.
This slim volume is a welcome addition to my bookshelf, one which I find myself flicking through surprisingly often.
I've already got the companion book on the G,H and J models 1942-45 so this completes the set. As always with Ospreys it seems a bit thin when you first handle it but they are packed with information and data that is often missing from fatter and more expensive productions - no names mentioned!
