This is a cheap way to get a whole lot of Simpsons for a good price especially if you buy it second hand.
This is a bigger than Average slab of 4 of the Simpson Comics all in one.
A 126 page omnibus version containing Simpsons Comics '15, #16 #17 and #18 and makes this a really satisfying book of The Simpsons.
The stories are
"A Trip to Simpson Mountain":
"Kill-er Up With Regular (An Itchy and Scratchy short) ".
"Waitresses in the Sky":
"Apu's Incredible 96-Hour Shift (without Getting a Break)":
"What's the Frequency Simpson
"Bumblebee Man in !Ay, Que Lastima!":
"The Dame and the Clown":
"The Quest for Yaz
Now the technical sell.
The really big pay off is that it these books gets kids reading.
As a Teacher I'm always trying to encourage children to read especially sad to say mostly boys who see reading as un cool and sadly they often have real problems reading so vicious circle. They fall further and further behind. The interest level goes too.
Now to comics. They look at the pictures follow the action then find that if they read the speech bubbles it makes it more interesting which leads to children valuing reading for enjoyment which can't be a bad thing.
If you have a reluctant reader and these tend more to be boys then you can't do better than getting them a book that is 'cool' to read in front of their friends has a high interest level and is enjoyable.

O.K. , this is how it happens, you wait for it for ages, you are really exited, and then it turnes out to be, Well i hate to say it, because, most simpsons comics are awesome, but BORING! It has four stories, as well as a load of little ones and only one of the stories would actualy get a high ranking with me, 'A Trip To Simpson Montain'. Basicly, if you have a load of money and just want anything, get this. However if you are surviving on pocket money rations, don't wast your money. Try another simpsons comic or just wait for them on TV!
