if your looking for small edge to push you in the right direction in chess,priyomes he calls them 25 of them to show you how masters think in certain types of position and how to handle certain positions,great book.i have gained alot from this book and its good read keeps you intrested,and not much effort needed.

This is an excellent training manual for the serious chess player. The exact endings and endgame techniques are particularly valuable. If you want to improve your chess play then study this book.

Soltis is one the chess writer of whom I learn a lot...Other; Dvoretsky, Yusupov, Colin Couch, Kasparov, ...Except his book, "Pawn Structure Chess" all other boks are very well, great books...

Straight-forward positions arising from games of players in the 1100 - 1600 ELO grade grade range; excellent quick checks on tactical positions.
