Not quite as good as I was expecting.
on 12 January 2012
I bought this for my Grandad who is 85 now, and struggles with bad shakes and bad eyesight - however he used to be a Fellow of the Astronomical Society, and mapped the moons craters for the moon landings! Astronomy is very dear to him, and I wanted him to be able to gently browse the new photos without having to hold a thin flimsy book, and with photos big enough to appreciate the images.
This is BIG. A3 size at a guess and hardback. Its not the best written book in the world, and the photos are more of a educational book format rather than the photos being there because they are amazing to see.
Whilst ideal for my grandads situation, I wouldn't be impressed if I knew anything about astromony or was buying for any other reason than its size & weight being good for laying on a table in front of grandad and letting him browse as and when he could.
