I have to say I was incredibly disappointed with this book. Katharine of Aragon is not the main feature of her own book, there is a much larger focus on the rivalry between Charles V, Francis I and Henry VIII. I would not recommend this book if you wish to learn about Katharine of Aragon, if you wish to learn about European politics then this is an ideal read. I would recommend the Giles Tremlet book on Katharine of Aragon if you would like to learn about her
Having read Giles Tremlett's Catherine of Aragon, I had great expectations for this book by Professor Williams. Regrettably, it is repetitive and badly edited and adds nothing new to the history of the sad life of this admirable Queen of England.
