I've been waiting for this to appear for some time as it relates to a couple of projects that I have been involved with. Naval dockyards are an integral part of how the Royal Navy 'works' as an organisation and this gives a clear and comprehensive history of their life and times along with useful information of some of the key characters in their history such as Samuel Bentham. It is not a cheap book but it is well organised and extensively illustrated and if you have any interest in the history of the Royal Navy then this is well worth having on the book shelf.
