Ordered book second hand and it was in perfect condition and delivered quickly. I would recommend using this service for quick , efficient and reliable products and at almost half the retail price it is most definitely worth it.
Gretton & Steven is a well written, well structured and very readable introduction on the topics of property, trusts and succession. It covers all the material likely to be in any LLB ordinary courses on the subject, and does so in a concise manner.
I have been lucky enough to have both authors as lecturers, and can attest that they are experts within their fields.
Inside the unassuming green cover, you'll find the best introduction to the law of property and trusts in Scotland. Succinct, practical and pithy. Intellectual property isn't covered in any detail, but the book is no worse for this.
If you want to get to grips with these areas of law, whether as a student or as a lawyer having a change of direction, I don't think you could find a better place to start.
My only complaint is that the authors didn't write this a few years ago!
I was on the LLB course and looking for a good summary of this area, which wasn't a favourite of mine. Read it cover to cover for the exam and passed. This is a very modern law book and not as dull as some of the older material, even includes the odd bit of humour! This is the best law book I used on the LLB - even compared to the subject area's I did like!
