Content-wise 4 stars but the side bar boxes and illustrations are almost unreadable on a Kindle.

This book is written in an ... er ... engaging style, appropriately enough. It's an easy read and well laid out if a little bit of a slave to its own structure in that it will go through the headings even when the content is pretty clear by then. However, this is helpful if you are just flicking through. In terms of content, I'd rate it at a solid 4 stars - losing maybe one for the relatively limited range of ideas it contains. Those here are good and practical but there are not that many of them compared with some other books of a similar value.
However, my sitting on the fence, 3 star assessment is based purely on the Kindle version. There are no problems with the formatting of the text but the real meat of the content is in illustrations of examples and some side bars of particularly good ideas or thoughts - however on a Kindle, these are almost unreadable as they are a) dark and b) don't scale up. This severely restricts the usability of the book.
I would probably just about recommend it - but only in the, more expensive, paper copy. Give the Kindle version a wide berth.
