Any fool can easily find a decent teashop in London; where you actually need a guide is everywhere else. So London, with its population of 8 million, gets 23 entries, whilst the rest of England, Wales and Scotland between them, population 52 million, get 26. Have a guess how many entries the UK's second city by population, Birmingham, receives. Yes, that's right, none! This is typical of the witheringly condescending metropolitan approach to its provinces and it makes me sick. I mean, has the author ever actually been outside the M25, except to go abroad? I think we should be told.

nice book as listed, good information in the first section about the history of tea and related tea info, the only downside was that there was a fairly large section on were to take tea in london, ideal if you live in london or visit london a lot, but in other areas of the country the amount of places were to take tea was limited some areas of the country had no listings at all, so it needs to be more comprehensive and needs more listings - would perhaps be ideal to leave in the car glove box and then you could refer to it if you were visiting a particular area.
