Alison Croggon does not disappoint with this beautiful little book of poems. Her ingenious style leads to complex language, but simple oh-so-beautiful concepts. Croggon does not write in words, but in feelings and colours, and the effect is extraordinary.
For those Pellinor fans wishing to see more of Alison Croggon's work, then I will warn you that this goes a lot deeper, and therefore is more difficult to understand. Nonetheless, I would recommend this to any who are interested in poetry because this is the work of a genius.
