Not my favourite book of Simon Green's Nightside - that would have to be Haunting the Nightside, but that's just a matter of taste. This omnibus is basically the finale of the stories of John Taylor and the Nightside, containing two books (Paths not Taken and Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth)(so be careful to check whether you already have one of these already). The identity of John Taylor's mother and routing of all his enemies make for page turning reading, and as usual the action and gore and imagination are great. I would recommend getting this, if only to round off the series - unless Simon decide to write another Nightside book.

As I have said before, fun, light but very original. I love this series, lots of characters on a familiar hero saves world theme, with a difference.
