This book covers a number of topics which all relate in some way to crime prevention. In fact you get 10 small books in 1.The subject matter is generally presented well although at times the reasoning behind an idea is not always explained as well as it could be and some of the example data is dated. I would recommend this book to anyone in the policing environment who is wanting to have a better understanding of problem solving and applying it's principles. In addition this makes a good reference manual for crime analysts particularly those wanting to explore more options around the geographical angle.
