This is your typical National Trust property guide book, of the generation where the contents are quite specific about the property tour, and it's rather text-heavy and not so illustrated as more recent editions of other property guide books, with abundant large illustrations.
Inside the cover, you will find the plans of the castle.
Then the guide book carries on with the tour of the castle, the walled garden - a great example by Gertrdude Jekyll, Holy Island itself, and a history of the castle: the Tudor fort, the Edwardian House, and finally a couple of chapters about Life at Lindisfarne and Later History.
