Good Story - Poorly Presented
on 9 June 2011
Roy Reyland was a Spurs legend, in as much as he looked after the Club's kits for nearly 30 years. It is such a shame that his story has been made to look foolish by some atrocious editing and awful mistakes.
Page 1 has the first glaring error (Spurs beat Atletico Madrid to win the 1963 Cup Winners Cup, not Real Madrid), and it is all downhill from there. It makes Mr Reyland look like he has no idea what he is talking about, and he clearly does, being a fan before he become a staff member. Paragraphs copied, and inserted in the wrong places, and many other factual errors riddle this book, and we can only hope the the paperback edition has ALL of these rectified.
Wait until June, and maybe you'll get the true tale of the boot room.
