Tried all sorts of books to encourage my children to learn. My eldest (8yrs) really enjoyed these books he will go and start using them without asking to do them now. He finds them colourful almost like a story and as we only do one exercise a night they are not too long or monotonous for him to do only taking approx 5 - 10 minutes to complete. In fact he enjoys them so much he has already asked if when he finishes this bundle can we get some more in the series to do.
Don is 7 and is average in school yet this book is at his level. Challenging but not too hard. It's fun boyish and not too many questions on each page. If my son needs more practice in an area I do a few more questions in same format on separate piece of paper as each subject has limited questions.
I've used these books with both my children and they have been very helpful. They are not too wordy like some of the workbooks I've seen and appeal to both boys and girls. They are particularly good if you have a child with a learning disability as they have fun characters.
