I've looked at a few pilates books and this is one that I've stuck with as a newcomer to pilates. It is easy to follow, has useful 3-stage developments of each basic exercise to suit your increasing fitness, and suggests a couple of programmes to get you going rather than leaving you to work it all out. It also provides general guidelines to healthy nutrition and lifestyle without going over the top. All-in-all a good, basic guide that is still useful as you become more adept.
