Good start to feng shui.
on 24 January 2016
I was very excited about getting this and enjoyed about half of the book.
It was very easy to follow, mainly because I've read books before on chakras etc, if you haven't you may need to re read to digest the information properly.
I brought this book because whenever someone has mentioned feng shui, the response from me and others has been 'Isn't that when you move stuff around?' And since my house needs literally every single part decorating and made homely, I figured this would be a great place to start. I am not a huge believer, which this book clarifies you don't need to be (eg you don't need a dragon statue in the west of your house to do feng shui correctly.) It goes through all the different types of feng shui in great detail. It has chapters on how feng shui can change your behaviour, mental health, physical health and finances as well as your home. Itsums up a lot of thoughts you unconsciously have when you're unhappy in a home. It gives great ideas, and I have done some of the charts and maps, and found it has helped my home.
Ibdont have a balcony, or unlimited space, the shape houses it goes into detail about,or loft space ornlots of windows etc. This book can help you go over basics, but if you're looking to totally feng shui your whole home it won't work, how could it from a book, I think you'd need an expert to visit your house or read more than just this book.
The charts take a while to grasp.
Great book to help you start understanding feng shui, and my friends have enjoyed hearing about it.
