Excellent historical overview of Borders rugby with some really interesting insights from those involved. Great for rugby enthusiasists and also those who are new to the game. Essential for anybody particularly keen on Scottish rugby (and I'm a Wales fan myself). Nicely written - could barely put it down. Recommended. I bought it for Kindle, read it and loved it, and ended up buying the hardback for perpetuity.
Conflicting interests: none.

Bought as xmas present for my Brother in law and he really has been enjoying this book. He played for Duns and is really enjoying all the local stories that are in this book.

However, there is a howler of a mistake. Jim Telfer was not a centre, he was a backrow. Drysdale even interviewed Creamy for the book and still couldn't get it correct.
