After reading the first two in the Konrad trilogy i couldn't wait to get my hands on this little beauty and i couldn't put it down, i'm not the fastest reader int he world but this one was done in 48 hours :) The action never stops are Konrad (so hard he only needs one name) continues on his quest to discover who he really is. Once more he teams up with Wolf the fighter from his past who trained Konrad in the art of combat. Also the other characters from his past avdentures return and together they attempt to over throw the plans of Chaos to replace the emperor, its full of action and high adventure and easy to read. The only draw back was that it is the last Konrad book in the series so come on David Ferring write some more there is still soo much that needs explaining Its a well writtin trilogy and well worth reading i give it two giant thumbs up
Warblade is David Ferring's conclusion to his 'Konrad' trilogy , and while it starts off well, it soon descends into a jumbled plot which is nowhere near as good as the previous two books. I opened the first page full of excitement at discovering the answers to all of Konrad's questions from his previous outings. Alas, the climax is very poor, and i was extremely disappointed. The book runs out of steam about halfway through , and i found myself not really caring about the outcome , and wanting it to end quickly!
This book just juddered to a tired halt in the middle of the road that was the Konrad story. The first book was good but by book 3 the story was on the ropes. Flabby writing and poor ideas just left me cold. Sad end to a trilogy that initially has a great deal of promise
