Colin Baxter's photos, as usual, are simply stunning on this calendar - they always seem a bit "different" and he has this remarkable knack of capturing clarity of light and moods of the weather, among rugged yet beautiful scenery - including some fabulous reflections in the water. Plus there's one of a very nice, even clean-looking Herdwick sheep posing contentedly just above Buttermere! The photos capture the beauty of the Lake District through all the seasons.

I often buy a Colin Baxter calendar for elderly relatives - the Lake District one being the most popular with them. I have sent his calendars to quite a few people over the years and they are always delighted with them as the photography is superb.

[P.S. If you go on the website "Colin Baxter photography" - Google "Colin Baxter The Lake District 2014 Calendar", and the first item on the list will get you straight to the relevant page - then scroll down and this calendar is bottom right of the page - there is then an option "Click to see contents".]

I love the lake district so this was a great calendar for me. Lovely photos and space to write, although like most calendars if you have large handwriting you won't get a lot on although they aren't intended for novels are they. Only criticism is that I would prefer it as an A3 version with the metal loop binding at the top with hanging loop. Other than that does what it needs to.

If it had been possible to look at the images, I wouldn't have bought it. Inferior, poor quality photographs that don't begin to do justice to the Lake District.

Great pictures and excellent lay out so you can see previous month and next month. It would have got five stars but the quality of the paper and depth of colour on the photographs is not up to the quality of other calendars i have purchased.

Chose it because last year's was fine.
This year's photos are not very exciting. They are darkish.
As a frequent visitor to the LD and an amateur photographer, some of my own photos are better than these and the scenes could be more evocative.
