Killian's Tide is a parallel book to Michael Turner's "Fathom". In "Fathom" Killian is the well liked villian with a mysterious past. I have always wondered what happened in Killian's past that made him rebel against his people and why his anger towards humans is so fierce. This book reveals that and more about his past.
If you liked the "Fathom" series then you quite simply have to buy this book, the artwork is terrific, the plot moves along at great speed and Turner's ability to create characters that the reader can genuinely connect with is clearly shown in this book.
Also, fans of Michael Turner or people who have read "Fathom" may also wish to check out "Witchblade", the character that got Michael Turner the attention he deserves is still as good a read now as it ever was.

seriously, I was quite hesitant to buy this short story about Killian, but in the end I had to and it was a very good decision.
Aside from the marvelous artwork which is not surprising and expected from somebody like Michael turner, the story line is great as well. While reading Fathom it was very unmissable that Killian hated humans quite a lot and this story is a perfect edition; telling the perfect background to this man who hates humans so much. i very much like this book and i can recommend it to everyone who like fathom.
