It’s worth reading and fairly well written, but it does nothing to promote a positive image of modern day footballers. According to the book he played brilliantly in every game despite an apparent lack of professionalism. Not really the role model for aspiring young players
This gives an incite into Pennants life as a person but it is poorly written. It’s a shame that it focuses heavily on bad behaviour rather than his talent. With all that talent and fun loving mentality it would be interesting to see him coaching and working with young people who have potential and ability to succeed.
