A great companion to most of the projects a modern gardener (beginner / intermediate) wants to do. Simple, useful, practical explanations and the right amount of information. Plus realistic but inspiring images.
A really delightful book, with a simple and honest approach to growing plants in your home and garden. Alice has a very nice way of keeping it relatable and easy, while still giving a hopeless gardener (like myself) hope that I will be able to master growing a variety of plants pretty competently. I may buy copies for my equally hopeless friends, and would definitely recommend.
A gorgeous, charming and informative book with a realistic approach to gardening for those who haven’t (yet!) got a clue. It goes through four or five basics in each category, giving you a good basis to then go in and experiment a bit with some new things. Couldn’t recommend it more for fellow newbie gardeners!
