Love, love, love this book!

I can't rate this book highly enough; I bought various weaning books and found this the most exciting! Of course my daughter would prefer sweet potato with a hint of lime and coconut to just plain pureed sweet potato! I followed this book pretty closely and now at 13 months, my daughter will eat most things. She eats better than me for sure - she has a tasty south Indian veggie curry for lunch and a lamb hotpot for dinner today. And all pre cooked and frozen in batches. Easy peasy!
I found that I didn't want to go down a strict baby led weaning route - or be stuck feeding purees for ages, but this book has a great blend and shows you can feed finger food from very early on, alongside purees. And that purees don't need to be boring! To me it makes perfect sense that in place of salt and sugar, you use herbs and spices to create more flavour.
I also love how the book sets the weaning process out with simple stages and clues about when to move onto the next stage. The recipes are all really simple to do - and really do only take the time they say.
I have recommended this book to everyone as the food is so tasty - and why wouldn't babies love tasty food? I'm very happy to share my daughters banana and coconut pancakes or thai curry. They are fab!
