I bought this while researching background information on the war in 1940 and for painting guides for wargame miniatures. It is a good example of the Men at Arms series and was exactly what I expected and needed. Good value.
Covering 4 countries and their involvement in WW2 in such a short book is nigh on impossible, yet Nigel Thomas who is a regular contributor to the Men-at-Arms series did it again: it's simply brilliant. I particularly appreciated the comment on Belgium's unjust treatment by the Allies after a fierce resistance to the German advance.
This book is a must have for wargamers, history buffs and figure collectors.
