Whilst this is a very good book, well researched and written, the problem with any book on social media in the digital age is that it sets itself at a point in time. As the big players such as Facebook and Twitter change their business models to suit market conditions, recommendations in sweeping titles become irrelevant. For example a Facebook page is no longer the tool it was due to limiting algorithms,and playing the FB ad game is the only way to guarantee your post gets reach - and even then you are not guaranteed a response.
Whilst good points are made, in six months they may be moot. To keep with the times it may be better to review peer blogs amd articles rather than rely on textbooks such as these, effective whilst they might be at time of print.
