Beyond offensive - a deeply unpleasant book
25 April 2019
I thought this was going to be a politically incorrect satire on the liberal left. I was wrong. This author seems to despise absolutely everyone except white men. He is sexist, racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic and just plain nasty. He can, however, write well enough to make his point abundantly plain; I actually agree with the main theme of the book, which is that the liberal left is placing people into racial categories and then allowing white people no voice at all. We in the UK have lost our freedom of speech, and that is a very bad state of affairs. I do not share Goad's sexist views, nor his anti-Semitic and homophobic attitudes, and I don't find them amusing. The publishing company - "Obnnoxious Books" - really says it all. I am returning it.
