Great book, for a great price. Some fun insults. There is just to much introduction for my taste.

Bought this for a secret santa, there's plenty of jokes/insults and loads of pages in. It's a nice liitle book. The guy I picked out of a hat to buy for seemed fairly chuffed with it anyway.

This little book is like a tardis really, pocket sized yet full of sizzlingly scrumptious insults, even if you do not intend to use them on anybody, they're a great laugh to read.
Probably go down a treat in the office!
I bought this for my Dad for Father's day and I liked it so much I bought one for myself as I love to chuckle at a good sarcastic insult.
Well done to the writer who has made the book look incredibly stylish, a stylish way to fill your brain with insulting ammunition, brill, I love it ;)

it's an ok book, a bit too american which is strange since colonials have no sense of irony, unless you consider their manners or their foreign policy.

some of it is funny but a lot of it you'll have read in a hundred other books and those old copies of the readers' digest magazine kept in the barber shop. what really bugged me is the page or two of editorial between the funny stuff, the editor getting his twopenn'orth piggy-backed on the other entries, and then the little asides about what passes for humour 'in the UK', or 'that's what it's like in the UK', or 'what is it with the UK?'

it's bit of a rip off unless you buy the cheapest one on the 'buy it new' list, or else steal it from waterstones, which is where i saw it and really should have read more of it before i bought it.

can't fault amazon, though, good price and speedy delivery, just a poor product, try "hollywood wit: classic off screen quotes" instead, or anything by Des McHale

i will admit that som o these made me chuckle, there are oldones and ne ones in there. this would be quite ideal for a small gift. however there are some jnfair jokes about the UK, 'at least in the uk' and 'what's up with the uk' ect. why????

A nice little book of insults, smackdowns, comebacks and backhanded compliments for every occasion. Also includes some historical examples, e.g. from Churchill.
