Truly excellent book. I found myself stopping at so many phrases with my mouth open. So many "oh wow" moments. It's seriously hard to explain how deep this book goes into the types of thoughts you have about yourself but never quite verbalise.

Tara writes from the heart - what you don't realise is that after the "cuddle" the work begins. Various excerises at the end of each chapter help you to "peel your own onion" back and get in touch with your most painful experiences - an enlightening read but be prepared to do the work too.

I enjoyed this book mostly because as I was reading it I realised that here was a well qualified experienced woman teaching exactly the same as I had been to my clients and I am completely unqualified. Thanks Tara. Good read

Love this book, warm, human, easy to read and enlightening. I have cried as I recognize the same hurtful patterns of behaviour in myself, which I am learning to rectify. For anyone who enjoys mindfulness and focussing I recommend it.

Beautifully crafted, inspiring yet easy to follow. Its a self help book that can benefit everyone. Full of heart-centred wisdom and psychological insights, I found myself melting into self acceptance and love in ways that no other writer has managed to evoke in me. Its nourishing food for the soul.

This is the first time I haven't drifted into sleep during a meditation. With a deeply relaxed manner about herself it seems to have a similar effect on myself as I listened. Am glad to have purchased it.

The theory of acceptance is life changing if you are ready for it.

It is always great to find out how others deal with the so common issues of lack of self acceptance. Tara has a smooth and calming voice that guides and directs an attentive listerner thought a beautiful journey of self acceptance. Defiantly recommend
