I have absolutely no experience of chocolate making, and although this book is very detailed in it's instructions, I think it would have been a good idea to start off with something more basic. For one thing, I don't have even half the equipment that is required, and there is a LOT or equipment required!
Having said that, the recipes look wonderful and I still aspire to actually do some of them one day when I have gained the skills/equipment. There are also recipes for things other than filled chocolates, such as cakes and puddings, which is lovely.
Overall, it is a beautiful book, very well presented and packed full of information on how to make chocolates properly. Be aware that this is quite a fine art, though!
