This for me is a superb book about what happened and who took part in the
still unsloved massacre back in Chicago
A well researched book with a great a run down on all the top gangsters
who were connected with the massacre.
The book goes into some depth into the now famous 'American boys 'who worked for Al Capone and with some justifaction William J Helmer has solved the riddle of the massacre
The book also contains a mini chronology from 1900-1967 with info connected to the massacre
I do give this book 5 stars and strongly recommend this book to anyone
who is interested in the events surrounding the massacre.

This a superb book full of info i was not aware of.For example.... "Peter Gusenberg one of the northsiders top enforcers had a dental apointment on 14 february, but cancelled it to be at 21/22 north clark street. insignificant? no.
If he had kept the appointment he would not have been present when they were all slaughtered.
A great read. I read half the book in one day.
The prohibition chicago gangster era is by far the most facinating era in criminal history, and this book dipicts that era superbly..
Recommended.
