the author clearly knows what she is talking about but it was just not what i expected it to be. if you are looking for a book on fashion styling in the sense of editorial and commercial styling, this book is NOT for you. it is all about working on mail order catalogues. also, it could be written a bit better. the chapters are oddly structured and it is very repetitive.
if you are looking for a good book on the industry, try jo dingemans 'mastering fashion styling'.
