I found this to be a very informative guide to networking
and to establishing a coven. The book also warned about the
safety rules, which I found to be great. The book brought
me hope in the way that there are other people out there,
practicing wicca.

Edain McCoy sheds light on how covens actually function, including the different kinds of covens, group dynamics, what to look for and what to avoid when choosing or creating your own coven. She includes a helpful list of questions to ask yourself and potential coven members. With compassion, wit and humor she describes some of the events she has witnessed as a member of different covens over the years, and how to make your coven experience an enlightening one.

Having been a solitary Wiccan for almost seven years, this book answered a great many questions I had about the "other side of the Wiccan fence." Between it and Amber K's Covencraft, I feel much more comfortable with the concepts of study groups, learning circles and covens as a source for spiritual growth.
