The last in the trilogy and I still want more! This charming and quirky book, like the first two in the series, is full of madcap ideas and naive oddball characters, has left me wanting another one. A great read for a genuine piece of escapism, a well crafted bit of story telling full of wit and highly recommended. Looking forward to more from this talented author.
A Horatio Nelson lookalike, an ethereal isle that disappears along with three vanishing fishing boats, a precipitation of silver coins, weird potted plants and, lest I forget, phantom pirates. Implausible? You bet it is, especially as it happens within the narrow straits of the English Channel. But knit the implausible seamlessly and, hey-presto, abracadabra, - the latest engaging, mysterious adventure from the creative mind of Kathy Sharp.
Imaginative, crazy, barmy and, yes, sharp, 'All the Wild Weather" is an entertaining, witty investigation into the supernatural."
