This is all researched, and thoughtfully presented. I have to compare it with a well known authors work on the Camino Francés, Portuguese and Finisterre. I have walked all of these, and frankly, I found it so useless in terms of stage length and accommodation advice that I ditched the CP guide somewhere near Tomar.
This guide however is presented in a simple, factual way. Practical information is given throughout and the guide gives map which are to scale (note - I think the maps side of things could be improved, but it is adequate and scaleable, unlike others).
I shall definitely be planning next year's VdlP based on Mr Kelly's excellent guidebook.
