An excellent book. I was able to use the ideas straight away in my work with various organisations here in Mongolia. Really opened my eyes on how I could improve my approach. The use of cases is super as is the overall STEPS approach.
Great read whilst on vacation relaxing before the onslaught of Q4 2018. Fantastic insights into coaching and I’ve made lots of notes which I’ll be sharing with my team at our annual meeting. The finale re the coffee cup is a great insight into the how we should use different perspectives.
I was trying to write something profound about this latest book, but it doesn't need it, it speaks for itself, for anybody who wants to get the best out of other people, them being colleague's, team mates, even your own kids, it explains that you don't have to be over complicated with your approach, when a smile or a look may just say it all, an absolute fantastic read from beginning to end
Brilliant reading, really enjoyed it, some invaluable lessons to work into your everyday life and some brilliant sports stories. Story about LFC playing Chelsea in the FA Cup in the 60's is worth the money alone. Great stuff
One of my favourite mindset books. Detailing sports in relation to leadership gets you thinking of the masterclass behind some of the key moments within sporting history. You can utilise the book outside of the sport environment. Looking forward to reading the Barcelona way!
