Agatha is, once again, up to her 'beady little eyes' in trouble. This time investigating the murder of a local lady who was known for borrowing and never returning. This one's packed with deliciously unpleasant characters. Full of Agatha's trademark dry wit, acerbic tongue, and propensity for man trouble. Absolutely enjoyable. For those who are looking for a fun, bizarre but satisfying read the Agatha Raisin series will not disappoint (the audiobooks too are fabulous - Penelope Keith can't be beaten). I often re-read an Agatha when I need a boost :). Recommended.

Agatha Raisin books are addictive! Once my friend recommended them to me as perfect for someone who likes amateur sleuthing adventures, I bought 'The Quiche of Death' and I have been hooked ever since! This is another fun yarn from MC Beaton which doesn't disappoint. You don't have to have ever read another Agatha Raisin book to pick up any in the series and get into the stories - highly recommended!

This is the most enjoyable book I've read so far of all Agatha Raisin novels. It was more gruesome and had more horrid characters in the plot was interesting and had me guessing a number of times. Thoroughly enjoyable

Typical MC Beaton and her Agatha Raisin series. Very cosy crime books and this was no different. Very well written as usual with the expected plots from this kind of book.

this a very good book to read, when you have time to kill like on a train, plane and if you are waiting for someone.
