I was surprised at the size and quality of the presentation simply because the original RRP was £100 and it really does not seem that much when it arrives! Luckily I got it for half price and have to say the material it contains; extracts, interviews etc. is simply superb. An excellent addition to any Doctor Who collection.

Worth 5 stars if you're a fan because of the wealth of material contained within, including no less than 4 different plays along the way plus a multitude of interviews and features. Although several of these titles have been released separately (if not all of them by now), this set distinguishes itself by having each of the 2-disc 8 volumes presented with new 50th Anniversary packaging and individual titles per volume, lending the set more of a cohesive feel, and also being more than just a reboxing of existing stock, as a consequence. Unmissable for the fan.

I've been a fan of Doctor Who for many years, but without fail there was something new and exciting for me listen to and learn about on every disk. With linking Narration from the late Elizabeth Sladen and Nicholas Courtney, as well as the still with is Louise Jameson, this collection clearly shows the actors affection for Doctor Who. Hearing the voices of Nick and Lis added an extra level of poignancy to this set, as it must have been recorded towards the end of their lives. I miss them both. Each disk contains a plethora of news articles, interviews, plays, documentaries that will delight fans old and new. Highly recommended.
