The books in the Pretty Little Series by Lark Books make perfect gifts for anyone creative. My favourite is Pretty Little Presents. I like this one the best in the series because there is a whole variety of things to make, whereas the other books in the series focus on one specific thing, such as pin cushions or a book dedicated to potholders. There are six in the series at the time of writing.

Pretty Little Presents
Pretty Little Purses and Pouches
Pretty Little Pin Cushions
Pretty Little Patchwork
Pretty Little Potholders
Pretty Little Cozies

At the beginning of each book is a section that talks you through the basics, tools, techniques, materials and stitches. It is then onto lots of things to make. The photographs in the book are excellent and the range of fabrics is so exciting. The series definitely will make you want to start sewing. A range of designers contribute to the book and you can read about them on the final page of the book, so there are lots of variety in the styles.

Each book is divided into subject chapters. In the Pretty Little Presents there are five chapters: Hostess with the Mostest; Welcome Home; Snappy Birthday; Tying the Knot and Bundles of Joy.
All the templates are provided at the back of the book. All the books have lots of fun projects and are very pretty and provide plenty of inspiration.

Haven't made much from this book. It's not my most of favourites but maybe I need to give it another 'go'
