Good rollicking Space Opera, set in the Liaden Universe when Tree and Dragon are still based on Liad.Usual mixture of the Clan and Associates, and cats, and the same "Georgette Hayer" style Tale of Manners features. A good post "Nuncheon" read!

This latest version is more on bonding between AI and people communication trust, honour, principles standards that many people to day find hard to differentiate and in this book it comes out for those who listen will learnt, there are elements of justification by governments for their action and decisions which reminds of us of RL that makes it a interesting read. Hope there will be more SEQUELs for Theo Waitley perhaps branching out to Privateers arena..

Sharon Lee and Steve Miller continue their Liaden Universe saga in the form of Dragon Ship.

Dragon Ship continues the story of the Korval Clan's newest member, Theo Waitley, who we met in Ghost Ship.

Understandably, Theo is still wary about joining with the vessel, Bechimo. Being the first human for centuries who will go through the experience, she has noone to guide her. Bechimo is desperate for a Captain. He has been alone through centuries of trying to hide himself from people who want him themselves or want to destroy him.

On their journey (joined by Clarence 2nd pilot) Theo and Bechimo get to explore their understanding of each other. At the same time they also try to figure out if there is a market for a long run for the Korval Clan. Adventure lies along the route.

As with Ghost Ship, Dragon Ship is an adventure novel taking Theo and her crew from one exciting moment to the next. Lee and Miller's writing is catchy and aimed at a Young Adult audience.

As a continuation of Theo Waitley's story, this is pretty good, but fans looking for more of the central plot around Korval may be a bit disappointed because we only see glimpses of the Delms and the rest of the family.

Again Sharon Lee and Steve Miller continue to please with another good story about Theo Waitley . I can't wait to read the next one! They are very clever as they weave their tales bringing in characters from their other books and creating a totally believable Universe. Long may they continue to reign! I know that I will be re-reading their books for a long time to come.

Imaginative star-ship filled space opera with a strong female lead. Frustrating that the books are so short, because they are good light hearted and thrilling reading.

Consistent to the series, you feel you need to continue to follow the series to a conclusion, but not yet in sight.
