I first read this 30 years ago when it first came out. It was brilliant then and it still is. You forget stuff as you get older. I forgot how much I was disappointed to finally finish it the first time....until I finished it the second time. Masterpiece.

This is a story I have read so many time, and cannot get too much of it. I would put this as a classic of Stephen King's works as the story just grips your imagination from page one to the end.

Bought as a present for my sister who is obsessed with Stephen King, and so even though I have not read it, she was over the moon and has only given me good feedback.

But worth every word. Putting down the novel for the final time seems both apt and poetically tragic. I'll miss these characters but they'll soon fade from memory. King knows his trade like few others.

I loved this book. I watched the mini series when I was a kid, so I didn't think I would be able to get much from reading the book. I was very wrong. Deep and creepy. It's a long book, but I could have stayed with it and the characters for longer.

Could not put down. A real page turner long but well worth the read would recommend to everyone who enjoys Stephen King fans

My God it is a scary read. Decided to read it ahead of the remake this year, just calling it scary dont cover it!
