A very good introduction to statistics. Easy to follow and understand. However, the last chapter somewhat lets the book down. There is way too much material crammed into the last chapter - this could easily have been two, or possibly even three chapters!
The last chapter is also a lot easier to deal with if you have the printed, rather than Kindle, version of the book, as there is a need to constantly flick back to the Z value tables, and also look at earlier material. Unfortunately as you can't print out a page from a Kindle book, having to flick backwards and forwards was quite a pain. Also, the concepts in the last chapter are fairly subtle (at least for newbies), and I thought they deserved to be treated with as much care as earlier parts of the books. You will probably have to work through the last two chapters several times to feel the fog clear (at least I did).
On the whole an enjoyable and well put together book, although the last two chapters are a bit of a relentless slog!
