Not written to specification
on 30 May 2014
The book is well written and the concepts are generally explained well using simple examples. However, if you look at the specification ([...]) many importance details that are part of the course are omitted, or mentioned briefly.
This means much of the book's content is irrelevant when it comes to this actual GCSE, although of course it increases the knowledge of anyone reading it, but that is not necessarily the point of a textbook meant to be tailored to one course.
So bear that in mind, if you go through this book, not only will you miss out some very important details but many details like 'binary trees' that are explained are in detail are not required for this course.
