I really enjoyed On Guard. I thought it'd be pretty technical and dry but it isn't at all. It's written in simple, straightforward language,
and Dr Craig's passion for philosophy and apologetics shines through every page - you can tell he really loves this subject! The book contains some very nice (and helpful) illustrations.
If you're a Christian, it'll bolster your faith; if you're an agnostic/atheist, it'll challenge your world-view - no doubt about it.
Criticism of the book? Personally, no. Some folks might prefer something more scholarly.
In sum, On Guard is a very readable popular level book, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's interested in defending biblical Christianity.
If you haven't seen Craig in public debate mode, you might like to check out his various videos - he's an impressive debater. A good place to start is the 'William Lane Craig vs Frank Zindler' debate on YouTube.

This was my first Christian apologetic book. I did not know what to expect, but I can say, without doubt, my confidence in having a philosophical conversation during street evangelism has sky rocketed.
I will surely recommend if you often reach out to unbelievers who only converse philosophically about the origin, purpose and destiny of the universe and man.

Brilliant ! If you want to know how to defend your faith in the face of sometimes overwhelming opposition, this is for you, heavy going in places, but always readable.

Covers similar ground to Reasonable Faith, but at a more popular level. Opens up a whole range of evidence, some of the arguments round the ressurrection are really strong but not obvious unless you know the context in the Jewish/Roman world of the time.

Dr Craig is one of the finest Christian thinkers in the world. The information he presents needs to be more widespread in the general population as so few are aware of the incredible facts of reality he has spent his life studying.

This is an excellent book which does exactly what it says on the cover: it defends Christian faith with reason and precision. It makes profound philosophical arguments accessible to a wider audience. Highly recommended.
